As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for: + Leading SRE teams by providing technical mentorship, feedback and guidelines, and by organising project-specific work. + Driving partnership with Engineering, Operations and Product teams to help guide adoption of new features and processes. + Applying analytical skills and statistical insights to identify performance bottlenecks and reliability challenges, and propose solutions. + Defining, implementing, analyzing data feeds from various sources to generate insights influencing company decisions. + Influencing company decision-making at the highest levels to identify areas for new technology investments. + Building software tools and systems to automate analytical tasks and workflows to increase efficiency and reliability. **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + Have relevant experience and a Bachelor's diploma in Computer Science or its equivalent. + Have an analytical background with experience in statistical data analysis. + Demonstrate experience with coding in at least one following languages (python, perl, SQL, Java, C, R) + Make a habit of delving into the details of your own, and your team's, work. + Have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to articulate technical information in an easy-to-understand manner. + Possess experience with Internet protocols (DNS/HTTP/TLS/TCP). **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
