Senior ServiceNow Platform Architect
Contractor personnel shall perform work onsite located in NW Washington, DC 20551, or partially remotely as directed and approved by Management.
Pending award- 5 year Contract starting January 1st 2026

Must be able to pass federal background investigation

MUST live in 50 mile radius of Washington DC

PROJECT BACKGROUND
As part of our strategic initiatives, We are focused on enhancing the cloud capabilities and expanding the systems to meet growing business demands. As our cloud strategy evolves, the Board is committed to leveraging cutting-edge technologies with the goal to design, develop and implement cloud-based systems and solutions that support our business objectives and meet the evolving needs of our business partners. The complexity of the cloud/multi-cloud environments and architectures require expertise in areas such as infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization, microservices and automation. To achieve this, We are seeking to engage experienced senior to mid-level skilled technical personnel with expertise in cloud architecture, DevOps and security best practices to provide specialized skills, technical expertise and hands- on implementation support. These resources will support hands-on design, development and deployments of a scalable cloud solutions .

We are seeking skilled technical professionals will support various cloud initiatives including but not limited to migration of current technology systems to cloud, optimization of cloud infrastructure, etc. This engagement will leverage technology development best practices and methodologies such as agile, DevOps to deliver robust solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS
•At least seven years of experience performing the functions associated with this labor category
•Experienced and proficient in the Now Create methodology
•Enterprise Security and Architecture
•Enterprise and/or IT Service Management
•ServiceNow Advanced System Administration
•ServiceNow Application Development
•Experience with database design schemas and data modeling
•Strong requirements-gathering experience
•Demonstrated experience developing software according to the software development lifecycles (SDLCs), including DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall.
•Demonstrated understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding principles.
•Demonstrated architecture, design, data modeling, and configuration experience with ServiceNow or similar platforms.
•Demonstrated experience developing applications:
•Languages such as Javascript and Angular JS.
•Webservices
•CSS
•Client-server, middleware, or web platforms.
•Mobile or cloud platforms.
•Demonstrated experience with relational data structures and data manipulation methods associated with relational database systems:
•Experience with database platforms such as Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs).
•ITIL knowledge and experience.

CAPABILITIES
•Create and maintain a detailed view of existing architecture.
•Align ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap.
•Lead the Platform Support Team in implementation of technical good practices, policies and procedures.
•Provide architectural controls and analysis of impacts for new requirements.
•Identify opportunities to combine similar solution needs.
•Provide leadership and participates in implementing new requirements on the ServiceNow platform.
•Contribute to governance processes.
•Stay current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated
technologies
