Your Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow applications, modules, and solutions, aligning with business and strategic goals. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to resolve complex platform issues, conduct root cause analyses, and ensure the robustness and reliability of ServiceNow solutions. Oversee and execute end-to-end implementation of key ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, SPM, and other ServiceNow out of box modules. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to both junior and senior developers, administrators, and the broader DevOps team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within a large DevOps environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices. Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using APIs, MID servers, and other integration methods. Support architecture team to perform platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance, ensuring proactive risk management and minimal business disruption. Design, develop, and enforce automated testing frameworks (such as ATF) to enhance solution reliability, productivity, and accuracy. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, process flows, user guides, and knowledge base articles. Ensure all solutions comply with security, data protection, and compliance requirements. Advocate for the strategic use of ServiceNow to drive business automation, operational efficiency, and high-quality user experiences. Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus. 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with proven experience in complex, enterprise-scale environments. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, API, ServiceNow scripting, and advanced platform components. Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, core applications (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, etc.), and system integrations. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing robust integration solutions with third-party systems (REST/SOAP, JDBC, etc.). ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, CIS — ITSM/ITOM/CSM) highly desired. Thorough understanding of ITIL, service management concepts, and DevOps methodologies. Proven SME skills: Ability to investigate and resolve advanced technical challenges, drive platform optimization projects, and act as the go-to expert within the team. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills for difficult platform issues. Demonstrated ability to guide, mentor, and influence large DevOps teams towards improved collaboration and collective growth. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments preferred. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable with both independent and collaborative work.
