About the role
We are looking for a skilled SEO Data Project Specialist to join our dynamic global SEO team. The role requires leveraging analytics tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, and Ahrefs to analyze organic traffic and conversion metrics.
Mission & Goals
Drive advanced data analysis and reporting strategies for our international portfolio of websites and work with agencies and stakeholders to manage SEO data projects.
Use data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio, or Power BI to create detailed, interactive reports that inform decision-making, fuel organic growth, and relay key findings to stakeholders.
Developing and maintaining insightful dashboards is crucial for success in this role.
Objectives
Drive advanced data analysis and reporting strategy for an organic team responsible for multiple global websites and brands.
Manage and execute SEO data projects in cooperation with our agencies and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with SEO goals and optimal resource allocation.
Use analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, and other data sources like Ahrefs to analyze organic traffic and conversion performance across multiple websites and individual pages.
Leverage data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker Studio, and Power BI to create detailed, interactive reports that drive decision-making and uncover growth opportunities.
Develop and maintain dashboards that provide insights into customer behavior across our websites and website components.
Convert data and key findings into actionable insights to improve business processes, increase efficiency, and boost ROI.
Collaborate closely with SEO team members, content managers, and other stakeholders to align roadmaps with data-driven insights and plan SEO and content initiatives based on potential impact and resource availability.
Identify trends to help inform content and editorial strategy and project future performance.
Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in SEO, analytics tools, and algorithms and adapt current processes to new developments.
Competencies
Analytical Proficiency: Ability to interpret and analyze website data, reporting metrics, and SEO performance using industry best practices.
SEO Expertise: Deep understanding of SEO processes, best practices, and the ability to provide strategic consultancy on search optimization.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in analytics and SEO tools such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI.
Data Manipulation & Visualization: Strong statistical skills and experience in analyzing and visualizing data using Excel, Google Sheets, and related tools.
Database & Querying Skills: Experience with SQL and BigQuery for handling and analyzing large datasets is a plus.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Insight: Ability to leverage CRO principles and user behavior insights to optimize performance.
Effective Communication: Strong ability to translate data-driven insights, trends, and findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Project Coordination & Time Management: Experience managing multiple projects across teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely execution.
Collaboration & Organizational Skills: Capability to work efficiently across diverse teams and time zones, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to navigate challenges with a positive, flexible, and solution-oriented approach.
