As a Security Sales Specialist for Firewall for AI, you will be responsible for: + Being a trusted AI advisor: open to innovating with customers, developing proofs of concept (PoCs), and bringing AI solutions to life. + Working closely with the enablement, marketing and product teams to help refine sales motions and influence product strategy. + Overseeing the entire sales cycle, including outreach, qualification, analysis, demonstration, proof of concept, negotiation, and closing. + Being accountable for your sales target and overachieving on that sales target. + Building customer relationships and qualifying opportunities such that the sales forecast is accurate. **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + Have deep domain experience in AI applications, LLMs, abuse prevention, and/or AI/ML-related threat defense. + Have 10+ years' sales experience in cybersecurity and show evidence of success and progression in the role + Have experience in early-stage or high growth environment. + Display history of consistently exceeding individual sales goals and targets. + Have experience navigating complex organizations. + Have demonstrated the ability to close new customer acquisition. **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
