JOB DESCRIPTION:
Compliance and governance: help achieve compliance; identify compliance initiatives as well as author and promote appropriate security policies. Lead analysis and review security events for anomalous activity; collaborate with respective peer groups to take appropriate action to safeguard company information assets against current and foreseen threats. Lead the exploration of practical security solutions to address emerging threats and compliance requirements, including design and implementation of recommended solutions. Develop and implement security programs: manage and execute project deliverables; communicate to affected stakeholders including departments within the organization; develop program procedures including guidelines and flow diagrams to be implemented on an ongoing basis; and develop tools or metrics that allow for the measurement of successful program implementation. Communication and outreach: maintain communication with peers throughout the organization and security contacts including Business Units and subsidiary locations; survey clients to determine appropriate communication methods; deliver solutions to help raise security awareness; and develop and disseminate information regarding security controls and newly identified risks. Assess and measure security programs to ensure closed-loop operations, seek out and execute upon opportunities to reap program maturity, and deliver innovative solutions to obtain efficiencies. Develop and maintain program procedures including guidelines and flow diagrams to be implemented on an ongoing basis. Develop tools or metrics that allows for the measurement of successful program implementation. Perform other duties as needed.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field required.5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.In lieu of a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field plus 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations, employer will accept no degree plus 7 years of experience in job offered or related occupations.Also required is:4 years of experience in: threat modeling of enterprise applications and their hosting environments; designing and documenting security controls for cloud solutions; creating and presenting information to various levels of the organization; creating patterns for secure use of cloud services, SaaS applications, and platforms; and reviewing code for security defects and advising teams on secure coding practices.1 year of experience presenting to executive level audiences.Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Boca Raton, FL, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.Experience can be concurrent.#LI-DNI
