Senior Securities Based Lending Wealth Underwriter

In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables and contribute to large-scale planning related to Wealth UnderwritingReview, analyze, and evaluate borrower financial data for moderately complex high-net-worth loans to determine credit worthiness and monitor existing portfolio to identify issues that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors; present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situationsIndependently resolve moderately complex business, operational, or technical issues and lead team to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of Wealth Underwriting functional area policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirementsDevelop solid understanding of Home Lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for Wealth Investment Management client mortgages as neededCollaborate and consult with Wealth Underwriting peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; serve as a mentor for lower level staffProvide input to assist leaders with credit risk management decisions to ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Wealth Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Experience in credit assessment: Analyzing the creditworthiness of borrowers and assessing their ability to repay the loan.Skilled in collateral evaluation: Evaluating the value and appropriateness of the securities used as collateral for the loan.Knowledgeable in transaction evaluation: Assessing the risks and suitability of the overall lending transaction.Experience in documentation and analysis: Document findings, analyzing loan files, and identifying potential exceptions.Skilled in risk mitigation: Reconciling findings with guidelines and identifying compensating factors.Knowledgeable in compliance: Adhering to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data security standards.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$73,100.00 - $155,900.00
