The Senior Secretaryperforms a range of secretarial duties to ensure efficient and effective office operations. This role supports various staff and functional areas throughout the department as needed.

What you'll do:

Administrative Support:

Answer phone calls, take messages, and make appropriate referrals.Greet visitors and serve as the department's receptionist to maintain smooth operations.

Communication:

Type and format correspondence, announcements, and reports.Assist in compiling data for operational reports.

Ad Hoc Projects & Event Planning:

Assist with various projects, summarizing and compiling findings in reports, spreadsheets, graphs, or other formats.Support other staff with on-site event planning activities.

Record Keeping:

Create and maintain an accurate filing system and records of departmental activities and projects.

Budget, Inventories & Equipment:

Assist with the preparation of check requisitions, purchase requisitions, and expense reports.Utilize Lawson to process purchase requisitions.Order office supplies and arrange for the maintenance of office equipment and facilities.

Clinical Support:

Manage patient scheduling with appropriate caregivers/audiologists based on patient input.Handle cash transactions and provide basic maintenance instructions for purchased items.

Work Nature:

Duties involve several related sequential steps, processes, or methods.Work impacts specific areas significantly and has a substantial effect on student or patient well-being, comfort, or convenience.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education:
Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education

Minimum Experience:
Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
 

Compensation:  

Pay Range: $16.70 - $25.53 per hour 

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
