As Senior technical leader (L7, Sr. SDM), you will lead flagship S-Team goal, owned across multiple VP Orgs.
Amazon kickstarted a flagship initiative to launch all-new Supply Chain Services Console and Developer Hub to get our merchants products from the manufacturer to customer doorstep using various supply chain offerings under a single umbrella of Amazon Supply Chain Services. Amazon Supply Chain Services leverages 20+ years of logistics and fulfillment expertise to provide a proven set of supply chain solutions for all omnichannel businesses that will bring disproportionate benefit for our large enterprises and SMB merchants alike.
As a senior technical leader, you will co-own driving multi-org, high impacting initiative for Amazon. You will lead multiple 2-pizza tech teams (35+ team size) through your leaders, making impactful decisions and delivering value for our merchants. Key job responsibilities
1. Hire, manage, and grow your team of diverse engineers and managers.
2. Create and maintain short and long-term product roadmap
3. Owning and contributing to the 3 Year Plans and the operational plans
4. Influence stakeholders within and outside of the org and be able to work across multiple orgs.
5. Drive unit growth, revenue and adding disproportionate value for our customers while also focusing on building the right tech for operational excellence, maintainability and future extensibility.
6. Set the right operational models for the teams to succeed.
A day in the life
1. Stay focused on the flagship STEAM goal for 2025. Deal with multi-org challenges , ambiguities and technical complexities. Help the teams to make progress towards the goals and escalate, unblock the teams at the earliest.
2. Establish operating model and auditing the teams, the roadmap, the execution challenges and helping team unblock
3. Work with multiple stakeholders (PMs, Business, GTM) to arrive at simplified, impactful solutions for our customers.
4. Audit the teams, setup the right metrics (input and output) to track

Our team, Supply Chain Infra Services (SCIS) is part of Santos org. SCIS's mission is to provide best in class experience for our merchants who use various supply chain services of amazon, for their off amazon needs while staying laser focused on the profitability and the growth of our business (Multichannel Fulfilment & Buy With Prime). We have a startup culture that focus on being agile and nimble in the face of ambiguities and complexities while dealing with multiple orgs within amazon. The teams are structured to enable fast decision making, smaller and quick launches.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams
- Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
