The Senior Scrum Master will guide the Scrum Team in agile methodologies to deliver high-quality products and services. They drive the implementation of agile framework to focus on high quality, iterative development. The Senior Scrum Master should be independent, detail oriented, collaborative, and able to adapt to changing use case needs. Join our rapidly expanding team of dedicated product managers, data scientists, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders as we work together to build impactful and beneficial AI systems. **Key Responsibilities** + Create an environment that empowers and energizes team members, with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration. + Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Demos and Sprint Retrospective + Facilitate PI Planning + Support iteration execution + Facilitate team productivity and flow + Utilize and correlate data and team metrics to demonstrate team capacity, predictability and maturity  + Support ART performance + Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to contribute to the improvement of Agile practices within the team **Use your skills to make an impact** **Required Qualifications** + 5+ years of related experience + 3+ years as a Scrum Master + 2+ years of experience working with agile methodologies on large scale, technically complex projects + Thorough understanding of agile methodologies, values, practices and patterns + Proven ability to facilitate the removal of impediments + Advanced facilitation, presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills + Thrives in a VUCA environment (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) + Scaled Agile (SAFe) certification(s): Scrum Master or Advanced Scrum Master + Experience with Agile Tracking tools such as ADO, Jira Align, and/or Kanban **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field + 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) + Experience leveraging data and team metrics to demonstrate team capacity, predictability & maturity + Certified Scrum Master (CSM) + Experience with Lean and implementing a process improvement mindset + Experience with Portfolio tools such as Service Now, Jira Align + Agile coaching experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban + Experience with testing practices (Gherkin) and DevOps + Experience with Azure Dev Ops as a product backlog tool **Additional Information** **Location/Work Style:** Remote US **Why Humana?** At Humana, we know your well-being is important to you, and it’s important to us too. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 **Pay Range** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $97,900 - $133,500 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
