We are looking for a seasoned Senior IT Scrum Lead to guide our Agile teams in delivering high-impact IT projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile methodologies, a deep understanding of IT systems, and a proven ability to lead and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports 2-3 teams on 2 backlogs. (AMS and PSS Teams)Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different projects, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc).Conducts Agile Events, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews and retrospectivesEducates the squads on the adoption of Agile practices and identifies Agile Team improvement opportunities.Focuses squads on value creationIdentifies obstacles to team/s performance; facilitates resolution and escalates where necessaryActively participates in sprints and partners with Product Owners to enable the delivery of prioritized features/tasksReinforces target agile behaviorsActs as a servant leader to the team (not the ‘boss’)Proactively provides real-time feedback to keep delivery on track and address issues as they ariseMember of MITDC's LACE team

Reports to the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and actively participate in ARTS SyncsFulfill the responsibilities as a SAFe Scrum Master such as Improving ART Performance, Facilitate PI planning, Building High Performing Team, Supporting Iteration Execution and Improving FlowRequired Qualifications:
At least 5-10 years with experience as a Scrum Master delivering complex technology solutions with a University Degree or College diplomaStrong working knowledge of key aspects of roleStaying abreast of developments in own technical discipline and able to recognize and translate these to own working env'tPossesses analytical skills and appreciates complex situations but only able to achieve partial resolutionAny of the following will be an advantage:SAFe Certifications (Leading SAFe, SAFe for SM)Scrum Master CertificationInsurance Industry experienceITIL CertificationWorking knowledge of business intelligence, business process, and/or correspondence management platforms and integrating systems via API/web services.Knowledge of Agile planning and tracking toolsGood verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomesWhen you join our team:
