Your Role:

You will work in a project-focused environment as a member of a multidisciplinary Process Development (PD) group responsible for the development and qualification of manufacturing methods to support new product introduction and the optimization of existing processes.

 

Perform laboratory experiments and evaluate data Write instruction for manufacturing or analytical procedures Test the robustness and reliability of new manufacturing processes and analytical proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new methods into Operations seamlesslyTrain receiving teams on new processes and instrumentationDocument development and qualification activities, ensuring compliance with our quality systemApply Root Cause Analysis tools to troubleshoot issuesPresent hypotheses, test data, and conclusions to internal stakeholders to advance project goals

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or a related discipline

 

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in independent lab research or chemical manufacturingFamiliarity with common organic chemistry lab techniques, including recrystallization, distillation, extraction, chromatography, spectroscopy, filtration, and organic synthesisExperience with common biochemistry lab techniques, including chromatography, spectroscopy, electrophoresis, centrifugation, protein purification, natural extraction and enzyme assaysProficiency with related analytical instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-VIS spectrophotometer)Proficiency with relevant manufacturing equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, filtration systems, mixers, pumps, automated purification systems (e.g., AKTA systems)
