The Senior Scheduler will provide scheduling support for the SLS Program Office under the NASA CPSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, AL.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Provide development and integration of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) containing all Element scope and aligns to the program work breakdown structure (WBS).
• Provide updates to include, status through time now, review relationships and logic, and verify remaining durations as adequate. Conduct analysis of schedule performance, work remaining, calculate metrics, compare with EVM metrics and communicate with EVM analysts, produce the top-five critical paths, and make recommendations to the NASA PP&C and Element management team. Perform special runs using program scheduling tools and techniques inserting “what-if” cases to depict impacts on critical paths.
• Update existing SLS program and project schedules monthly per IMSDRD within Microsoft Project Server. Analyze schedule performance, identify critical paths, and make recommendations to the SLS management. Conduct “health assessments” to ensure scheduling best practices are followed (e.g., accurate status, complete network logic), compare last month’s IMS submittal to the previous month’s submittal, and document all changes, variance explanations, impact statements, and corrective actions.
• Maintain the element schedule performance to plan summary schedules charts for all Artemis missions (using Milestones Professional software) for program schedule integration and Element and Program reviews.
• Perform monthly reviews of the SLS Element prime contractors’ schedules and report findings to NASA PP&C and Element management team, and Prime Contractor.
• Produce a monthly report documenting all findings, concerns, and recommendations to the NASA PP&C and Element management team.
• Develop, status, and report schedules and metrics for Element Office level schedules and develop and analyze schedule work-arounds.
• Lead, generate, and participate in assessments, such as schedule risk assessments (SRA’s) and Joint Confidence Level (JCL’s).
• Coordinate with Prime Contractor schedulers to discuss schedule.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 17 years of applicable experience (12 years in Aerospace/Research and Development)
• Extensive knowledge of scheduling principles, tools, and analysis techniques.
• Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis.
• Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, etc.).
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Extensive experience using commercial schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.
• Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable
• Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) a plus.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $111,600.00 - $195,200.00.
