Computacenter, Europe’s largest independent IT business, are looking for a highly skilled SAP Specialist with a strong background in the SAP Logistics and Warehouse management area. In Computacenter the role of an SAP Specialist spans the traditional disciplines of business and systems analyst and often of a project manager. The role is therefore varied and challenging, giving the job holder the opportunity to take full responsibility for their project. The role will primarily focus on SAP ECC projects with future opportunities to work on SAP extended Warehouse Management (EWM) initiatives. Deep WM knowledge is essential and EWM experience is a valuable advantage.
What you’ll do
Be a core member of an agile, dynamic focused team driven by business change and continuous improvement Collaborate with internal IS staff, Project Managers, and third-party suppliers Take ownership of end-to-end system testing and support business test cycles to successful completion Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IS development teams, to elicit, challenge, prioritise and document requirements Ensure systems development aligns with specifications and supports seamless cross-platform integrations
What you’ll need
Extensive functional experience in SAP ECC logistics and Supply Chain Management with a strong focus on Warehouse management (WM) Strong knowledge of SAP Warehouse management Knowledge of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) will be an advantage Experience implementing and enhancing solutions in areas of SAP SCM and integrated 3PL’s Experience in EDI/IDOCS/XML A good understanding of end-to-end business processes in an SAP environment, such as Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay Solid technical and analytical skills, with ability to interpret & present data clearly Strong problem-solving skills, being able to identify innovative yet practical solutions to complex problems Ability to collaborate and work with other team members and cross functional in other areas of the business Strong personal ownership and highly delivery focused Strong commercial awareness and an ability to operate in commercially sensitive and important situations Strong communicator verbally and in writing, with keen listening skills Experience working with third party providers Ability to prioritise competing demands and tasks Well organised, self-disciplined, and motivated
