We are seeking an experienced Sr. Salesforce Developer to join our team in Oakland, NJ. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams, Sales, Operations, Marketing and external Salesforce consultants to develop and customize Salesforce solutions that address day-to-day business needs. This is an on-site position, and the ideal candidate should be a strong collaborator, an excellent communicator, and have a proven track record of delivering Salesforce solutions that optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions within the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce integrations.
Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with Sales, Operations, and third-party Salesforce consultants to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide day-to-day support to resolve issues, fix bugs, and implement enhancements to ensure smooth operations across teams.
Customization & Configuration: Customize Salesforce configurations to align with business processes, including creating reports, dashboards, workflows, validation rules, and automation.
Agentforce Integration & AI Automation:
Utilize Salesforce AI tools including Agentforce to automate repetitive tasks, draft communications, generate insights, and streamline business workflows. Work with internal teams to identify high-impact automation opportunities powered by AI.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to ensure that the company is utilizing the platform to its fullest potential.
Documentation & Training: Create and maintain clear documentation for custom solutions, integrations, and system configurations. Provide training to internal teams on Salesforce processes and features.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong focus on both declarative and programmatic solutions (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Salesforce tools and features such as Flow Builder, Reports & Dashboards, and AppExchange integrations.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
Ability to work effectively with non-technical teams (Sales, Operations) to identify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate with third-party Salesforce consultants to ensure project success.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Salesforce Developer Certification (PD1, PD2) is highly preferred.
Base Pay:
Expected Base Pay Range: $160,000 to $175,000 Annualized
The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level, and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
