Senior Salesforce Developer
About the Role  As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll be part of a collaborative team of Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Admins, focused on the ongoing development, support, and maintenance of our Salesforce.com platform. You’ll use technology to solve real business challenges and make a meaningful impact at EF. Our team structure offers plenty of opportunities for growth—and the chance to make an impact from day one. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their Salesforce development skills in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.  Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop and implement integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, and web services.Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce implementations, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment processes.Ensure platform security and compliance with internal and external regulations.Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices. Skills required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).3–6+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development.Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and development lifecycle.Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP), integration patterns, and third-party integrations.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II and other certifications are a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. Please note: we're trying to build a great company culture and a cohesive office, which means that this is an in-office opportunity. There will be travel - Stockholm, London, Zurich etc. but when in Budapest this is a 5-days in the office role.
