Senior Salesforce CPQ Development Manager
What You'll Do We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Senior Manager, Salesforce CPQ to join our team. As a technical manager with a proven track record of implementing Salesforce and CPQ solutions, you will assure the success Avalara's quote-to-cash initiatives. You will lead a team of nine salesforce PROS/CPQ developers and work with QA team to resolve issues that may raise. You'll have an unique opportunity to influence and drive AvaTech mission to deliver technology solutions that impact customer/employee experience, and company bottom line. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Provide hands-on design and development skills to the buildout solutions using the legacy PROS CPQ tool and also catch up with the new salesforce CPQ implementation. Ensure deliverables achieve technical requirements, are scalable, and position Avalara for growth. Manage and maintain a collaborative working relationship and consistently deliver high-quality services. As a member of our AvaTech team, this role is a key driver of the advancement of our quote-to-cash solution - of which Salesforce PROS CPQ and Salesforce CPQ are cornerstones. This role will be expected to manage a group of salesforce PROS CPQ developers and delivery business solutions. This role will be expected to leverage best practices, established and recommended, in building our scalable Quote-to-Cash solution This role will be instrumental in Translating functional specifications into technical requirements The role will utilize their sound understanding of Data Structures, algorithms and database principles What You'll Need to be Successful 5+ years managing a team of developers and QA Salesforce CPQ SME and experienced Salesforce developer with atleast 8 years of hands on experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components along with the integration of AppExchange apps. Salesforce Platform Developer II certification and Advanced Admin or a Consultant certification required Full understanding of Product Catalog and Quote-to-Cash process Ability to manage a team of QA developers to write test classes to ensure more than 95% code coverage Familiarity with Agile development methodology - working in sprints, grooming work, etc. Working knowledge of compliance and release management processes Requires degree in related field (or equivalent experience) plus at least 5 years of related experience Experience working with salesforce PROS CPQ tool would be great plus. #LI-Remote How We'll Take Care of You Total Rewards In addition to a great compensation package, paid time off, and paid parental leave, many Avalara employees are eligible for bonuses.
