Role summary:

Are you passionate about building strong partnerships and driving business growth? We have a great opportunity for a strategic and relationship-focused Senior Sales Representative to champion our dealer network. In this role, you will take the lead in managing dealer relationships, promoting our innovative products and services, and empowering dealers to grow their sales capabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a key link between our business and our dealer network, you will play a vital role in driving performance, growth, and customer satisfaction. Your day-to-day will include:

Driving Growth & Relationships: Lead the charge in spotting new selling opportunities, boosting customer satisfaction, and strengthening long-term business relationships.

Partnering with Purpose: Work closely with dealers to ensure alignment with our business model, guiding them through processes for program approvals and commercial decisions.

Strategic Sales Support: From forecasting to planning sales, rentals, and used equipment strategies, you’ll help dealers sharpen their approach and successfully launch new products.

Performance Coaching: Regularly review dealer sales performance, identify gaps, and support the implementation of smart, effective corrective actions.

Skill you will have:

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyse situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Business Development: Knowledge of business development tools, techniques and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

What will put you forward:

A completed tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business Management or Engineering.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, within the mining Industry.

Proven experience in dealer or channel management, preferably in an industrial or heavy equipment environment.

Strong understanding of sales strategy, forecasting, and performance management.

Solid knowledge of mining applications and industry practices.

Proficiency in Chinese is highly desirable.

Additional Information

Travel requirements: 50% with a Southern African focus.

Onsite, five days a week.
