**The Job’s Mission:**
As **Senior Sales Representative** , you will help us deliver on our mission of **making healthcare better** by promoting and selling **Stryker’s Joint Replacement** medical devices across the **Eastern Netherlands** . Key cities in your territory will include **Utrecht, Arnhem, Nijmegen, Eindhoven, Zwolle** , and the surrounding region.
Our **Joint Replacement division** offers market-leading implants for the hip and knee, helping improve patient and hospital outcomes through procedural excellence. In this role, you will also support the sales cycle of our **innovative Mako Robotics** system. The Mako robot enables surgeons to perform more precise and predictable procedures, often resulting in faster recovery times compared to manual hip or knee surgeries.

This is a high-impact position within the Netherlands Sales team and an excellent next step in your sales career. You’ll develop strategic plans to acquire new customers and ensure top-tier service to existing accounts. Please note: this position requires approximately **70% travel** across the East Netherlands region.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Begin with a comprehensive onboarding and product training program to build strong technical and clinical knowledge.
+ Identify new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships based on trust and value-added service.
+ Develop and implement effective business plans, negotiating with key stakeholders including surgeons, hospital administrators, and procurement teams.
+ Provide product education, demonstrations, and clinical support in surgical settings when needed.
+ Lead or participate in business-critical projects and cross-functional initiatives.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and post-sales support.
+ Act as a mentor and coach for other sales professionals within the organization.
+ Attend conferences, seminars, and business meetings to stay informed and expand your professional network.
**What You Need:**
**Required:**
+ 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in **MedTech, BioTech, Pharmaceuticals, healthcare** , or other relevant industries.
+ Degree or diploma in **business, physiotherapy, nursing, healthcare** , or another relevant field.
+ Fluent in **Dutch and English** (written and spoken).
+ Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
+ A passion for (medical) technology and a resilient, customer-first mindset.
+ Analytical, organized, and adaptable – able to manage complex sales cycles and customer needs.
+ A valid driver’s license, as this position involves regular travel.
**Preferred:**
+ Previous exposure to **orthopedics or anatomical knowledge** is a plus, but not essential.
