Senior Sales Operations Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Franchise Business Analyst will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision making across the sales field and sales leadership team. This position will partner with business leaders to scope, design, and build appropriate metrics and reporting to answer strategic and operational questions. This will include defining and operationalizing key performance indicators (KPIs), uncovering insights through rigorous analysis, and translating data into business value. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives that influence direction and outcomes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Develop and deliver operating reports on sales performance, trending, productivity and other key metrics Analyze with ambiguity to identify trends, patterns, gaps and insights using descriptive analytics Conduct timely and accurate collection, analysis and dissemination of sales data Translate analytical findings into clear and compelling insights for technical and non-technical audiences Build and maintain strong rapport with sales management and other key partners to ensure ongoing decision support needs are met Facilitate requirement gathering sessions to scope reporting and visualization needs Document methods and procedures and contribute to defining best practices and standards for data analysis and visualization Develop a solid understanding of AtriCure’s software applications, data structures, architecture and processing capabilities Take lead with little direction to conceptualize and develop new data-driven insight solutions with broad applicability across the business Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data collection, analysis and reporting Manage multiple projects and timelines and pivot as new priorities emerge Adhere to appropriate data security and privacy protocols

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative field of study, Accounting, or Business Analysis is required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience 5+ years of Business Analysis experience Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint and the use of sales data reporting tools Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to confidently draw conclusions from data and gain actionable insights Experience in translating analytical findings into meaningful data stories for various audiences Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels within the organization Highly effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn and apply new technology Ability to travel 10%

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced degree 4 years sales operations experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry SQL or data query language skill or experience Strong experience using Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools including Power BI

Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
