Job Summary

The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will perform a wide variety of performance and operational analysis for all Sales channels. This position will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing business applications, custom forms and associated dataflow processes, as well as agent performance and productivity reporting, call flow and various ad hoc reporting. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will be working with various data sets utilizing advanced SQL queries to support custom analytics. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for the design, development, administration and maintenance of the automated reporting and data transformation processes as they relate to the creation of dashboards, distribution of the sales compliance and sales order status alerts, canceled and pending order alerts to the front-line representatives in an effort to maintain and retain sales orders. This position will also be responsible for administration of eBOSS suite, Sales Support Research Database, Side Tracker and Pulse TV Presentation/Raffle functionalities. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for mentoring lower level analysts to improve their technical and functional skills.This position requires interaction with various levels of management and senior management of Sales, Sales Operations Readiness & Support, Business Planning, Sales Commissions and Information Systems.

Responsibilities Develop automated processes to distribute key information or issues directly to our agents to immediate attention. Develop custom forms, databases and back-end processes to accommodate urgent business needs. Develop recommendations and solutions based on assessment and understanding of operating environments. Identify and develop appropriate metrics to properly manage the operation. Gather, classify and interpret data to provide insight into potential business issues. Develop recommendations and solutions based on assessment and understanding of operating environments. Determine critical processes and procedural changes and assess the impacts of these improvements on the overall operations. Define the requirements for new tools and ensure their efficiency beyond implementation. Identify and develop appropriate metrics to properly manage the operation. Participate in the development of new tools and processes along with the Product, Billing and Collections and IS groups. Maintain/administrate the Sales Knowledge Database infrastructure, eBOSS suite, Cisco reporting tools, Pulse TV, automated reporting, notification and data transformation processes. Mentor lower level analysts. Qualifications Management Skills Project Management Understands own team's strategy and objectives Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment Able to function self-sufficiently, but accepts guidance from peers and senior staff Solves moderately complicated problems requiring some independent thinking Serves as an individual contributor and team member Technical/Functional Competencies Minimum of five years experience in analytical role Must have proven analytical ability related to business processes and functions. Extensive experience in Process Design Knowledge of Cablevision's best practices and/or industry required Proficient knowledge of CableData, Remedy and/or other internal databases desired Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access required Proficient in HTML, Visual Basic, FTP, SQL Knowledge of Crystal, Seagate a plus Extensive experience in report development Key Experiences/Achievements Degree in Computer Science or 4 years directly related experience 5 years experience within cable television or related industry Proven ability to manage projects to completion Proven interdepartmental communication skills Developed improved processes and procedures
