Senior Sales Manager - Italy 

This role will report to the Sales Director and will manage a team of Territory Account Managers. You will be responsible for leading the execution of Illumina’s commercial strategies, ensuring budgeted annual sales and profit objectives are met within designated territories and for the district overall.

To be successful in this role you will have a life sciences background, experience selling technology, medical devices, capex, and be familiar with public tenders and a clinical environment. You will be a dynamic sales leader who has a structured approach, sales and people management experience, sales force experience as well as accurate forecasting abilities. You will manage teams of highly successful Territory Account Managers who have large quotas to fill in Italy, one of Europe's fasting growing regions!

Preferred Background:Significant sales experience in the Life Science industry.Sales management experience in the Life Science industry.Must be able to build relationships at every level in the organizationAbility to effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related subject area
