The Impact You'll Make

This position will lead PL48 Industry Sales team to meet sales target and develop Gasketed Plate heat exchanger business in China.

What You’ll Be Doing

Danfoss' gasketed and welded heat exchangers represent a priority business area with significant growth potential in the Chinese market. From both a market and product perspective, the Senior Sales Manager is tasked with the following key priorities:  
- Lead the local sales team to achieve sales targets and develop customer relationships  
- Further develop current growth opportunities within the Industrial segment, particularly in the Chemical, Marine, Power, and Semiconductor industries  
- Ensure sustained, profitable market growth through existing customers and a comprehensive portfolio of advanced components and solutions  
- Identify and pursue strategic opportunities and partnerships  
- Optimize the Sales Operating Model  

In alignment with the broader market strategy, the Senior Sales Manager has five key focus areas: 

Collaborate with the sales and support team as well as key stakeholders to further define and implement a three-year growth strategy   Work with key stakeholders to identify and develop products, services, and solutions that are well-suited and competitive in the Chinese market   Continue driving profitable sales growth with existing customers   Build a strong network and establish strategic partnerships with key players across the aforementioned industries   Enhance the organizational structure and staff capabilities to ensure a results-driven, proactive, and innovative sales organization that supports both the overall strategy and the Sales Operating Model   What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate should currently serve as a Sales Manager in a regional sales or national Key Account Management role within a leading company in the industry, and be seeking to take the next career step by leading a larger team with full responsibility for a priority country for Danfoss.

The candidate must demonstrate strong team spirit and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Preferably, the candidate holds a degree in business or engineering, combined with at least 8 years of sales operational experience in KAM, indirect sales, and project sales, as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management.

It is essential that the candidate possesses a strong strategic mindset and a clear understanding of the key drivers for success. In order to actively contribute to sales efforts and serve as an effective coach and role model for the team, the candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of all stages of a successful sales process.

Additionally, it would be advantageous if the candidate demonstrates strong analytical and planning capabilities, a solid understanding of pricing performance, and the ability to align the interests of multiple stakeholders.
