Job Title: Sr. Sales Director

Summary:
The Sr. Sales Director is responsible for leading regional sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and managing a high-performing sales team across key markets. This role will focus on expanding SKIDATA’s footprint in the U.S. through strategic customer acquisition, enterprise-level solution selling, and long-term client partnerships. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in technology-based solutions, a strong commercial acumen, and a passion for innovation and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with SKIDATA’s global growth objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to exceed revenue targets. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and partners. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions. Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and deal structuring. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Project Management, and Customer Success teams. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. Ensure CRM data integrity and leverage analytics to drive performance. Represent SKIDATA at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven track record of leading successful sales teams in the technology or enterprise software space. Strong understanding of solution-based selling and recurring revenue models. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite. Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in parking, access control, or mobility solutions is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field required. MBA preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver’s License in state of residence.
Languages and Travel:
Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, German, Italian) are a plus. Domestic and occasional international travel up to 45% required.
