The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Safety Specialist to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ (BCA) Fabrication team in Everett, WA.

This role requires competencies in leadership, adaptability, the capability to build positive working relationships with multiple functions. To support our business organizations, you will need to have excellent oral and written communication skills and maintain a high level of customer focus. This position requires the ability to make good timely decisions, ability to initiate and follow through on actions, and the ability to manage complex projects.   

Position Responsibilities:

Plans, implements, and assesses occupational health and safety programs and processes to maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Develops and leads training and instructions

Interprets and advises on the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations

Evaluates and provides selection advice on existing or emergent risk management control technologies

Leads audits, inspections and investigations and coordinates resolution of issues

Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections

Works with management to facilitate risk management decisions

Analyzes emerging technology for the identification of potential hazards and control methods

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher

5+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)

5+ years of experience collaborating across functions and organizations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, Public Health, etc.)

Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional, or Certified Industrial Hygienist certification

5+ years of experience managing projects

Leading a team formally or informally

Summary pay range: $118,150 - $159,850
