Senior Risk Management Coordinator

•    Provide administrative support to System Director, Risk Management and Risk Management Team, ensuring the smooth workflow and daily operations in the department. Additional support with calendars, purchasing supplies and travel arrangements.
•    Contribute to the design, development implementation and maintenance of the Risk Management billing process using real time data, graphs for various reporting. Create algorithms and flow charts for various Risk Management projects.
•    Prepare presentation of financial data at monthly meetings during budget reviews and documents that provide performance for improvement opportunities.
•    Create and utilize phone triage lists to support Risk Management Team with calls for the Hospitals and Clinics.
•    Updates, organizes and maintains the Risk Management secured drive materials. Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes for all meetings.
•    Entries for Risk Management reporting relative to potential compensable events, claims, lawsuits or other business requirements into Midas, MeQIM and HERO where applicable.
•    Assist Risk Managers with Discovery requests and schedule conference rooms for depositions when needed.

8. Include only required minimum qualifications that must be met. This includes education, years of experience, type of experience, licensure and certifications field:
•    Bachelor’s degree preferred or Minimum four (4) years office management/administrative experience; some Health Care environment 
•    Minimum eight (8) years experience with personal computer required; Fluency in Microsoft Office software required; EPIC experience preferred

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of activities and projects as well as providing technical and administrative support the assigned department. The role will assist the in resource management, monitoring and maintaining operations in assigned area; and responsible for developing and implementing functions that relate to specific projects. In addition, this position works cooperatively and collaboratively in providing technical and clerical support to the Department. This position works primarily with very limited supervision. It requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional customer service skills and technical expertise in the use of computers and PC software as well as the ability to develop standardized references and workflows. Work situations are highly varied as organizational priorities shift, requiring strong interpersonal and organizational skills, decision-making, and discretion with confidentiality when dealing with sensitive organizational, HR, clinical, and financial information. Independent thinking, judgement, and decision-making are required within the scope of the position responsibilities. Internal contact is with all levels of staff and management; and external contacts include vendors, providers, and professional organizations.

This position includes rapidly changing roles as care transitions and care management evolves. It requires an individual willing to identify opportunities to assist in workflow and process improvements utilizing LEAN concepts.

Requirements

College or work experience equivalent AA Degree preferred Administrative work in business, information technology and/or applications, or vocational training in administrative assistance (medical or business fields) Minimum five (5) years of administrative assisting and/or secretarial experience Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in a business or health care setting Project management training

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $62,608.00 - $90,106.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
