The Senior Risk Analyst is responsible for executing audits and testing internal controls. This role requires knowledge of technical accounting, audit concepts, and key business processes that impact financial reporting.

What You Will Do:

Execute audit projects, including SOX testing, with a focus on internal controls over financial reporting.Identify and assess risks, evaluating controls for compliance with industry standards and regulations.Provide insights on financial assurance standards, regulations, and emerging risks.Recommend improvements to enhance financial and operational processes and control effectiveness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on audits and team initiatives.Leverage digital tools to improve audit execution and continuously develop technical skills.Draft clear, concise reports outlining findings, remediation actions, and project outcomes.

What You Need:

Understanding of technical accounting and audit concepts.Knowledge of internal audit methodologies and practices.Familiarity with key business processes impacting financial reporting (e.g., inventory, procure-to-pay)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.Ability to collaborate across teams and build strong working relationships.Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in public accounting or a finance/audit role at a large company.CPA, CIA, or similar certifications are a plus.
