We are seeking a talented individual to join our Senior Risk Advisor team at Marsh. This role will be based in our Wellington office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

Assist Client Executives with the preparation, management, implementation and achievement of business plans and goalsDevelop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and frequently monitor changes within client organisations to preserve and protect the Company’s relationship with the clientTake a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standardsImplement successful account retention and defence strategiesMaintain awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clientsPossess a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance offered and keep abreast of new technical and product developmentsMaintain ultimate responsibility for the timely and accurate production, processing and delivery of client related administration and documentation

What you need to have:

Experience in fire and general insuranceNew Zealand Certificate in Financial Advice (Level 5) or commitment to obtaining within a reasonable timeframeDemonstrated experience in the insurance industryNegotiation and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood working knowledge of all aspects of insurance and relevant legislation
