Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Engineer to design and develop advanced RF components, subsystems, and systems. The role involves creating adaptive RF filters, circulators, and isolators, as well as high-power pulsed microwave and directed energy technologies. The successful candidate will optimize product designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency, apply material-enabled analog signal processing to enhance receiver performance, sensitivity, and dynamic range, and participate in system-level design throughout all phases of development.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop RF components, subsystems, and systems.Optimize product designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency.Apply material-enabled analog signal processing.Participate in system-level design throughout development phases.Create and analyze electromagnetic simulation models.Collaborate with customers to understand system-level requirements.Support sales and business development activities.Evaluate high-priority opportunities and assist with deliverables such as prototypes, bids, and presentations.Essential SkillsProficiency in RF circuit/component design.Experience with systems engineering.Prototyping and assembly of hardware.Linear and non-linear RF/microwave modeling and testing.Researching ferromagnetic phenomena in materials.Proficiency in HFSS simulation software.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF engineering.Master’s degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.10+ years of relevant work experience in the aerospace and defense industry.Demonstrated success in RF product design and development.Ability to identify and pursue new technology opportunities.Proactive, problem-solving, and outcome-oriented mindset.Work Environment
This role requires working onsite in a dynamic startup environment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
