Description We are looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team in Evanston, Illinois. This long-term contract position offers a great opportunity for an experienced individual to bring their expertise in revenue accounting and reporting to a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a detail-oriented role, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial processes. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. • Prepare and analyze revenue reports to support business decision-making and financial planning. • Conduct detailed evaluations of revenue streams to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost accounting and financial reporting. • Utilize systems such as NetSuite and Sage Intacct to manage accounts receivable and streamline operations. • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable balances to maintain data integrity. • Support audits and reviews by providing accurate financial documentation and analysis. • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue accounting. • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to meet internal and external requirements. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in revenue reporting and cost accounting practices. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Experience working with systems like NetSuite and Sage Intacct. • Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and management. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate financial insights. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
