The primary responsibility of the Senior Resource Manager focuses on developing competitive strategies to effectively hire, retain, develop, train, & assign skilled Field Service Engineers based on customer requirements, all within our Industrial Energy Technology services business (IET). The Senior Resource Manager will work closely with Service Managers, the Outage Excellence team,
Assignment planners, regional teams, COEs, HR and recruitment teams to accomplish these
objectives.
As a Senior Resource Manager, you will be responsible for:
Attending weekly, daily, and Monthly review calls with the extended team (Planners, Service Managers, Outage Excellence, etc) to support outage planning, ensure the timely fulfilment of resources on the required work scopes and establish a 1-year plan for his/her team.
·Managing closely His/her team of Field Engineers, solving individual and team issues on time, all per company policies and procedures.
Verifying FSE’s readiness for execution of assigned tasks.
·Ensuring the right skills and necessary knowledge for the regional resource pool is maintained, to support industry standards and customer requests.
Maximising FSE utilisation and their assigned hours to achieve and exceed the annual planned target.
Minimising bench time cost & establishing contingency planning for the team to drive effective utilisation.
Complying with Field Policies & Procedures while ensuring adoption of the same with his/her team.
Coordinating and facilitating career path planning and progression of His/her Field Service Engineers.
Assigning training programs to meet regional demand and developing the team’s technical capabilities (Multiskilling).
Collaborating with immigration & execution teams to ensure successful site mobilisations, logistics support and timely fulfilment of customer needs (Visas, gate pass readiness, site training, etc).
Building a strong Health and Safety culture in line with company policies and standards.
Encouraging the adoption of the company’s core values & Inclusive culture while promoting the expected behaviours based on collaboration, inclusivity, transparency, and care.
Driving data integrity of the company’s IT tools (Salesforce database, FAP, Workday etc.)
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a Bachelor’s Engineering degree with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of industry experience.
Have hands-on Resource Management role or Project Management Experience, or Operations Management (Site Leadership experience is a preference)
Have industry certifications in project management, HR, or technical disciplines is desired.
Have Technical Knowledge on Gas turbine and/or rotating equipment (Preferable).
Have Oil & Gas and Power/energy industry experience preferred
Be able to exercise excellent service skills to support internal stakeholders and customer needs
Have people leadership expertise and possess problem-solving techniques
Be efficient in time management Skills.
Have a track record of Planning Skills / Project Management.
Have good interpersonal skills: ability to work with all levels of employees
Be able to work under pressure.
