Job Description
Reporting to our Resource Director, as a Senior Resource Manager, you will ensure the optimal use of our Creative & Experience team to meet both our short and long-term goals. You will develop and execute workforce planning strategies, forecasting staffing needs, and optimising resource allocation to create operational efficiency. Working with our capabilities, you will align workforce strategies with our goals, contribute to a positive work environment, and support the overall success of Jellyfish.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement workforce planning strategies that align with both short-term and long-term goalsAnalyse staffing needs based on current and projected workloads, industry trends, and company growthUse data analytics and forecasting models to predict staffing requirements, identify trends, and improve resource allocationCollaborate with data analysts to collect and analyse workforce data to support decision-makingWork with department managers, HR, and other team members to understand staffing requirements and ensure alignment across teamsFacilitate cross-departmental communication to provide a unified approach to workforce planningAssess team capacities and identify areas for improvement to ensure optimal resource usePartner with hiring managers to identify skill gaps, explore upskilling opportunities, and escalate findings to leadership.Set and adjust workforce planning goals, ensuring alignment with evolving business needsReport on workforce metrics to leadership, including talent risk management and areas for improvement.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, the latest technologies, and best practices in workforce planning.Evaluate and enhance workforce planning processes to adapt to changing needs and challenges.Support the global Resource Team in building a well-resourced, productive, and effective global workforce.Qualifications4+ years of experience in workforce planning, capacity planning, or a related role, within an international digital marketing, advertising, or technology businessExperience using Salesforce, Certinia, or similar software for resource and workforce managementStrong proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools and modelsAbility to collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and resource optimisationFamiliarity with digital marketing processes and workflows, especially within creative teams.Knowledge of project management principles and practices, particularly in fast-paced environments.Passion for data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and driving efficiencyNote: We emphasize skills, expertize and behavioral attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees.
