Position Summary
The Senior Residential Advisor is responsible for providing quality supervision and management for the student population in a dormitory setting. This role involves maintaining a safe and clean environment, ensuring the accuracy of reports, and managing inventory levels. The advisor also mentor students, communicates effectively with staff and students, and collaborates with various departments to enhance center operations and fulfill program objectives.
Responsibilities
+ Follow integrity guidelines and procedures to ensure no manipulation of student data
+ Maintain a safe and clean dorm environment
+ Provide quality supervision to students in the dormitory
+ Ensure the accuracy and completeness of incident and shift reports
+ Ensure the physical security of the dorm area and report concerns to the dorm supervisor
+ Maintain adequate levels of inventory and proactively order supplies
+ Initiate work orders for necessary repairs and follow up with maintenance
+ Provide transportation as required
+ Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines
+ Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards
About Brunswick Job Corps Center
The Brunswick Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. A minimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experience required. A valid in-State Driver’s License preferred.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
