We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** **Senior Resident Engineer** **Abu Dhabi, UAE** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Resident Engineer.** **What You'll Be Doing:** + Managing a team to deliver Operational Maintenance requirements + Working closely with the client to understand their needs + Identifying and reporting issues along with developing mitigation plans + Plans, schedules, and supervises all field engineering activities + Exercises administrative authority over field engineering work + Controls and coordinates field engineering operations + Prepares construction and procurement schedules + Conducts subcontract negotiations + Provides technical guidance to support construction operations + Ensures compliance with company procedures and industry best practices + Willingness to relocate to construction site locations as required + Plans, organizes, and ensures proper staffing for all field engineering activities and support operations + Oversees execution and monitors progress of field engineering work + Provides guidance on scope, schedules, procedures, and technical issues related to construction + Estimates budgets and determines staffing needs based on project scope and timeline + Establishes and maintains quality control for construction engineering in the field + Collaborates with construction management to identify and eliminate environmental, safety, and health hazards + Ensures all personnel follow safe work practices in line with site-specific procedures and industry standards + Builds and maintains strong relationships with project design engineers, clients, and contractors + Maintains essential project documentation such as control records, design drawings, specifications, change orders, and back-charge documents + Monitors contractor performance to ensure adherence to schedules and project specifications + Conducts performance evaluations for assigned team members + Makes decisions on long-term planning, scheduling, budgeting, priorities, and personnel management + Advises management on field engineering procedures, construction methods, and financial matters + Regularly communicates with upper management and client representatives **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in construction + Minimum of 12 years of experience in field construction + Experience in large civil, structural, and/or industrial projects, both National and international **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + An ability to build collaborative relationships to deliver successful project outcomes + An ability to work in a fast paced project environment + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Experience in the management and delivery of operational maintenance + Some supervisory experience is desirable Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
