Senior Researcher, Neuroscience - Innovation
**WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH** As a NIKE Sport Research Lab (NSRL) Senior Researcher, Neuroscience, you will be responsible for executing research projects (both applied and basic research) aimed at delivering proven performance insights that will lead to innovative footwear, apparel and equipment, that are globally relevant. You will serve as a member of the broader NSRL and Mind Sciences teams, working with other Researchers and Product Innovators in all phases of research to provide holistic insights in the development of innovation concepts. **WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR** The candidate needs to be highly detail oriented and able to follow research protocols, be personable, good at working with and interacting with athletes*, and possess clear communication skills. + Bachelor’s degree in neuroscience or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training. + A minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience. + Master's degree in human neuroscience, experimental psychology, cognitive science, or biomedical engineering in a plus. + Must possess a thorough understanding of Neuroscience, experimental designs and basic statistical procedures. + Extensive hands-on experience in research with human subjects. + Comfortable with coding for experiments and data analysis (Python or MatLab preferred). + Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Able to follow detailed instructions. + Creative problem solver & self-starter. + Strong communication and people skills. + Previous industry experience with product R&D is a plus. **WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON** You will help coordinate and conduct research in partnership with members of the neuroscience and perception teams. + You will participate in the development of new tools, methods and procedures that will streamline data acquisition and provide new neuroscience capabilities. + You will become familiar with the research tools used by the Nike Sport Research Lab for human sensorimotor and cognitive neuroscience. + You will drive the recruitment and engagement of athletes* for studies within the NSRL. + You will execute study protocols and ensure proper IRB and athlete interaction guidelines are followed. + You will drive the preparation of study products and materials for the research studies. + You will assist in data organization and analysis and in communicating the results of the team’s research.
