Your role in a nutshell:Being proactive and self-motivated in the tasks assigned in compliance with VF reporting standards, focusing on completeness, accuracy, and assurance of targets. Responsible for ensuring consistent application of S15 accounting policies and related controls. Support to internal controls deliverables and external auditors.
What you’ll do:• Manages accurate booking of revenues and making sure all calculations have supporting documents.
• Understanding the basics of contracts for interpreting contract terms and identifying rights and obligations.
• Careful analysis of contracts, identifying distinct performance obligations, and transaction price.
• Supporting compliance with reporting requirements by providing data-driven insights and helping with internal and external audits
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Support, prepare and review BS Reconciliations for Revenue accrual / deferral, cost accrual / deferral / prepayments
• Accountable to ensure any open, aged items are actioned in a correct and timely manner
• Manage projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX requirements, SSC processes and procedures
• Support various ad-hoc tasks and analysis as required, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Technical financial and accounting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills, within multiple levels of organization
• Experience with financial consolidation and ERP/reporting systems
• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience of minimum 5 years as an accountant/analyst
• Fluency in Greek and English with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluency with the MS Office Suite (Mainly Excel)
• IFRS knowledge
• SAP knowledge
• CA (desired)
