Job Title: Senior Reliability Specialist
Job Summary:
This role will support the development, design and execution of reliability programs and drive operational excellence across the organization. This role works closely with the SR Manager to shape programmatic approaches that align with organizational goals, enhance system performance and build long-term sustainability inot operations.
The ideal candidate is not only detail-oriented and data-driven but also skilled in translating performance insights into scalable programs and solutions. This position supports strategic planning, facilitates the design of reliability and process improvement initiatives, and helps ensure alignment across teams through data-informed decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process Improvement Support
Guide process documentation, lead current-state and future-state mapping sessions, and apply Lean methodologies to identify and address operational inefficiencies.
Data Collection & Analysis
Lead data collection and analysis efforts to uncover trends, performance gaps, and root causes. Translate findings into actionable insights that inform program design, drive decision-making, and support cross-functional collaboration.
CMMS & Change Order Program Implementation
Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and related change order processes. Develop and maintain standardized workflows, ensure data integrity, and track future-state performance to support long-term planning, compliance, and maintenance optimization.
Continuous Improvement & Program Sustainability
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing programs, identifying opportunities for enhancement. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by supporting training efforts, mentoring team members, and promoting best practices across the organization.
Cross-Functional Implementation Support
Coordinate the rollout of new reliability and process improvement initiatives across departments. Support adoption by preparing implementation materials, engaging with frontline teams, and incorporating feedback to refine solutions.
Additional Responsibilities & Operational Support
Performs any other duties as deemed necessary by the Operations and CI&R leadership.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree (preferably Reliability, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline) from an accredited college or university; or 2 to 5 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
Business Experience
(prior years’ work/related experience)
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a facilities/operational planning or process improvement role required; experience applying Lean/SixSigma concepts in a manufacturing facility and or commercial office maintenance environment preferred.
CMMS platform experience required, Corrigo experience preferred.
Maintenance program experience is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to travel to Canada (valid Passport) preferred.
Lean/SixSigma certification is strongly preferred; Ability to achieve Green Belt certification within 12 months
Language Skills
Strong written and verbal command of the English language required.
Technical Qualifications & Skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including macros, Power Query, pivot tables, formula creation, and troubleshooting.
Experienced with CMMS and SharePoint platforms for asset management and document collaboration.
Familiarity with SmartSheet and the Microsoft Power Suite—including Power BI and Power Automate—is desirable.
Ability to quickly understand and apply technical concepts.

Industry knowledge; familiarity with mechanical systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire/life/safety; ability to read technical drawings, site plans, and legal language
