Job Responsibilities :

Oversee product testing and certification to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standardsLead, coordinate, and execute all activities related to agency approvals and regulatory compliance, including obtaining quotations, raising purchase requests, and preparing schedules, reports, test procedures, and test plansBuild and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory agencies, safety/EMI/EMC bodies, vendors, and suppliersTake the lead in developing, implementing, and maintaining internal test procedures, plans, and compliance guidelines in line with current regulatory standardsReview product designs early in the development cycle to ensure they meet all necessary agency compliance requirementsInitiate and/or coordinate root cause analysis for any non-compliance issues related to regulatory standards

Pre-Requisites :Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferably with experience in environmental compliance for electrical and electronic equipment (e.g., EU WEEE, RoHS, REACH regulations)5–8 years of progressive experience in electronics design and development, particularly in areas such as testing, failure prediction, safety assessments, and consumer product safety, EMI/EMC/RF testingStrong experience with product certification and global market access requirementsSkilled in analyzing test data and effectively communicating results to cross-functional teamsSolid understanding of the processes involved in obtaining certifications/approvals for consumer electronic productsStrong verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skillsProactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiativeCapable of working under pressure and managing multiple tasks efficiently
