The Sr. Regional Field Service Manager-NW Region is responsible for over $13M in revenue and leading a diverse team of 10-12 field service engineers focused on consistently growing our revenue, delighting customers, continually improving our business processes, and enabling team members to achieve performance and career goals.  This role requires a high level of collaboration with other functional groups, including Sales, Operations, Customer Relations, Finance, and Human Resources. An integral part of this role is the ability to balance strategy and tactics, and foster creativity and innovation directed towards improving Molecular Devices’ service team’s execution, engagement, and core growth.

This position reports to the Vice President, Global Service, is part of the Global Service team and will be fully REMOTE.

This position will manage a team of field associates covering the following states: N CA, NV, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Work collaboratively with regional sales and applications manager counterparts to support sales opportunities/growth and maintain customer satisfaction.Manage and prioritize customer escalations, driving to resolution with a sense of urgency.  Analyze and evaluate service metrics, key performance indicators and trends to make informed, data-driven decisions that enhance service quality, operational efficiency, cost-savings and drive high customer satisfaction.Conduct business reviews, obtain voice of customer and establish relationships with key customers to drive customer retention and market expansion.Achieve monthly, quarterly, annual service revenue goals including strategic product mix service goals for the assigned territory.Travel with Field Service teams, providing individual coaching and professional development to each member of the team as well as conducting performance evaluations and development plan reviews for each team member while concurrently driving associate engagement.Review quotes containing service offerings to ensure adequate profit margin, ensuring all costs are accounted for and reflect the value provided.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, OR Associates degree or other technical/trade certification, combined with 5+ years of service industry experience.5+ years of experience leading a team in the life science or diagnostics industry for an organization with a sales and service portfolio.Demonstrated experience and proven track record to directly manage a team of associates. Field-based/customer-focused/service-oriented teams highly preferred.Demonstrated ability in being adept to change managementExperience with Microsoft applications, Salesforce.com, Power BI, ServiceMax, Oracle or equivalent.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

This position requires up to 40% flying and/or driving travel, which includes overnight stays, and some with short notice for escalations.  Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs.  Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Danaher Business Systems and Tools including continuous improvement.Forecasting service revenue performance and leading a team to achieve that forecast.Time management and productivity efficiency with service call management and handling.

The annual salary range for this role is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
