We have an outstanding Contract position for aSenior Recruiterto join a leading Company located in theNorfolk, VAsurrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
Responsibilities :
+ Experience supporting Engineering Functions within recruiting.
+ Work with other talented recruiting and sourcing professionals who demonstrate in-depth industry knowledge to identify candidates to support some of our most critical programs.
+ Work closely with other recruiters, hiring teams, and business leaders to develop and implement recruiting strategies.
+ Identify and contact passive candidates.
+ Utilize the existing ATS and CRM systems as well as external databases.
+ Craft and send engaging and appealing recruiting communications to potential candidates.
+ Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
+ Promote our employer brand.
+ Partner effectively with HR teammates when working on compensation, compliance, onboarding, and other processes.
Basic Hiring Criteria :
+ Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of six (6) years of recruiting experience
+ Experience supporting ship repair, ship building, and skilled trades.
+ Proficient in using industry job boards, social media platforms, and candidate tracking systems (Kenexa/Brass Ring or comparable ATS).
+ Demonstrated experience in an OFCCP-compliant environment.
+ Experience building recruiting plans.
+ Experience supporting an end-to-end recruiting process.
+ Capable of adapting communication style to a myriad of client levels.
+ Notable experience and proven examples as a driver of diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.
+ Skilled at partnering with colleagues to build effective recruiting, sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer expectations.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
