Weatherford have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Recruiter to join the Team in Houston. The Senior Recruiter is an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team within the Global Human Resources function. The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for delivering talent in experienced hire positions across operations, engineering, technical, and support functions. Through close collaboration with TA leadership, HR leadership, global and Geozone HR Business Partners, and other HR COEs, the Senior Recruiter serves as the embedded subject matter expert on talent acquisition best practices, strategy and execution. The Senior Recruiter will successfully identify, attract, recruit, and deliver the best available talent.
Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, Talent Acquisition the Senior Recruiter plays a pivotal role in the internal recruiting capabilities at Weatherford. The Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (TA-COE) supports recruiting across the enterprise. The Weatherford recruiting team works on-site in close collaboration with business leaders, hiring managers and HR colleagues to identify, attract, and secure top talent supporting operational and strategic workforce needs of the company. This role partners closely with business leaders across engineering, manufacturing, technical, and corporate services to execute full-cycle recruitment strategies. The successful candidate brings industry-specific knowledge, a strong understanding of leadership, corporate function and technical roles, and a consultative approach to hiring.
This is a critical, internal client facing role as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers and business leaders. The Senior Recruiter provides market insights, candidate assessments, and strategic guidance to improve hiring outcomes. This position also performs a critical role in leading both hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment and selection process ensuring the right profile talent with the right motivations are delivered while ensuring compensation is fair and equitable for Weatherford and our new employees.
+ Develops deep understanding of the organizations, business drivers, resourcing plans and job profiles.
+ Works closely with Hiring Managers and HRBPs to anticipate needs to develop proactive strategies for posting and sourcing.
+ Help define the needs when requisitions are opened and collaborates on sourcing strategies with the TA team.
+ Manages the interview and selection process which includes managing/supporting the Hiring Manager throughout the process as well as the interview teams and candidates.
+ Candidate management responsibilities include recruitment efforts, compensation negotiation, closing on offers and ultimately delivering new hires.
+ Primarily internal client and sourced candidate facing.
+ Primary responsibility is for higher level, difficult to fill and critical roles.
+ Senior Recruiter will be required to source and perform full life cycle recruiting depending on volume and nature of certain roles.
REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
+ 10+ years' of Talent Acquisition / Recruiting experience.
+ 5+ years' experience in a Senior Recruiter role supporting corporate functions, technical and senior leadership roles.
PREFERRED:
+ 3+ years' experience with Oracle applicant tracking system ORC.
+ 5+ years' experience recruiting in the global energy industry.
+ Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
