Senior Records Manager
The Senior Records Manager Conduct analysis of the records management capabilities of current and planned information systems, as well as the agency’s particular needs and constraints and provide recommendations as to the Government's preparation for electronic records management. Develop strategy, processes, and procedures to implement records management of electronic records to support implementation of electronic Records Management Application (RMA). **Responsibilities** + Develop records schedules covering electronic messages including text messages, chat/instant messages, voice messages, etc. + Provide technical support and guidance for electronic records stored in repositories, systems, and applications. + Develop migration strategies for electronic and non-electronic records. + Incorporate records management controls into the design, development, and implementation of electronic information systems. + Develop strategy to integrate RM staff in the design, development and implementation of new electronic systems. + The contractor shall support the Government's preparation for electronic records management by analyzing the records management capabilities of current and planned information + systems as well as the agency’s particular needs and constraints and providing recommendations. + Provide technical support and guidance for electronic records stored in repositories, systems, and applications, (e.g., SharePoint, Email, File Shares, DMS, ECM) and the records and business documents contained in them + Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidance documents to support records management efforts. + Monitor and notify the agency of updates or bulletins from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) or General Records Schedule (GRS). **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in a related field. + Certified Records Manager (CRM) certification or equivalent preferred. + Minimum of 6 years of experience in records management. + Prior experience scheduling electronic information systems with NARA. + Familiarity with hard copy and/or electronic records management processes and systems. + Strong analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. + Knowledge of the General Records Schedule (GRS) and its application to record management. + Technical writing skills for SOPs and guidance documents. + Knowledge of enterprise-level content management systems and compliance frameworks. + Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
