Senior RCS Auditor
Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking a Senior RCS Auditor with our client in Minneapolis, MN.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior RCS Auditor to join our growing Risk & Control Services (RCS) team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the execution of internal audits, with a primary focus on corporate finance, insurance, and related financial services functions. The Senior Auditor will work under the guidance of an RCS Audit Manager, receiving direction on assignments and having work reviewed for quality and completeness. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a background in financial services auditing who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesExecute assigned audit procedures and tests in accordance with internal audit methodology and quality standards.Assist in planning and scoping audits, including identifying key risks and controls relevant to corporate finance, insurance, and related processes.Perform detailed reviews of processes, controls, and documentation to assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls.Document audit work clearly and concisely in working papers, ensuring all conclusions are well-supported.Identify control deficiencies, process improvement opportunities, and potential risks; assist in developing actionable recommendations.Communicate audit findings to the audit manager and, as appropriate, assist in the preparation of audit reports.Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather information, validate findings, and ensure accurate audit assessments.Participate in follow-up audits to assess remediation of prior findings.Support the continuous improvement of internal audit practices and tools.Qualifications
3–5 years of relevant internal audit or public accounting experience, preferably within financial services, insurance, or corporate finance.CPA, CIA, or similar professional certification (or progress toward certification) is strongly preferred.Familiarity with risk and control concepts and audit methodologies.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with audit tools and data analytics a plus.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.The base hourly range for this contract position is $70-$100 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
