Job Title: R&D Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on technician or engineer to support product development and testing activities. This role involves executing lab-based testing, validating and redlining Bills of Materials (BOMs), and processing engineering change orders. The candidate will assist in mechanical assembly, fixture setup, and perform basic CAD tasks, including drawing redlines and simple modeling in SolidWorks. Responsibilities also include supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and ensuring documentation accuracy throughout development cycles.

ResponsibilitiesExecute lab-based testing to support product development.Validate and redline Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy.Process engineering change orders efficiently.Assist in mechanical assembly and fixture setup.Perform basic CAD tasks, including drawing redlines and simple modeling in SolidWorks.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.Ensure documentation accuracy throughout development cycles.Essential SkillsProficiency in testing and validation processes.Experience with BOM redlining and vetting.Capability to execute change orders.Skills in fixture design and simple CAD work, particularly in SolidWorks.Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in regulated environments such as medical device, automotive, or aerospace industries.Work Environment

This position is based in a state-of-the-art facility in Santa Clara. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with an on-site presence required. The role offers a flexible start time based on business needs, ranging from 7am to 9am, and involves an 8-hour shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
