Job DescriptionAble to work under own initiative carrying out day to day quantity surveying / commercial functions, managing and supervising Project Surveyor, reporting to the Commercial Manager on infrastructure work for large waste landfill projectsPreparation of main contract and valuation of Employer’s Change Orders, contract budget and cost forecastSubcontract tender inquiry preparation, analysis and subcontract administration in compliance with the Company’s procedures and systemsCarrying out assessment and negotiation of sub-contractors’ variations, interim payments, claims and final accountsLiaising with the Engineering / Site Team and Procurement Team to carry out research on variation and claim issues for the preparation of contractual correspondence by the Commercial ManagerOther ad hoc commercial tasks as assigned by the Commercial Manager

QualificationsDegree holder in Quantity Surveying or Construction Commercial ManagementConstruction Safety (Green Card) TrainingGood command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure projects with a Main ContractorMember of RICS / HKIS / CICES will be an advantage but not essentialKnowledge of cost accounting and procurement software systemsExperience on Hong Kong GCC contracts and NEC4 Target Cost contracts is an advantageProficient in MS office (Excel) / Google applications and Power PointProficiency in AutoCAD and PrimaveraP6 will be advantage
