Are you a quality leader who thrives on driving excellence across diverse teams and regions? The (Senior) Quality Manager (m/f/d) reports to the Senior Director Operations T&HS EMEA and leads Europe’s internal and external quality teams, working with third parties and tollers to ensure all products distributed in EMEA comply with government regulations as well as customer and company quality standards. You will empower teams to deliver safely, consistently and cost effectively while driving continuous improvement in compliance, audits, customer satisfaction and key quality metrics.

What you will do:

Track & Monitor Europe T&HS Quality Performance – identify, address, and resolve non-conformances/non-compliances in a timely manner; prevent release of non-conforming products; report potential major quality/food safety failures; manage deviations and product dispositions (including BRaD); and collaborate with supplier quality via TraceGains to ensure compliance.Customer Quality Complaints – lead the team to reduce complaints by improving root cause resolution, addressing systemic issues, and enhancing response times.Ingredion Performance System (IPS) Enablement – guide and sustain IPS pillars, ensuring safety and quality requirements, training compliance (regulatory/customer), and alignment with regional IPS strategy.Adherence to Quality Standards – ensure all plant activities meet Ingredion, certification body, customer, and legal requirements with focus on food safety and doing things right the first time.Team Leadership – embed META5 competencies in team routines; lead QA/QC across plants and third parties; and ensure laboratory teams standardize and execute quality methods for consistent, trusted results.Quality Certification – ensure compliance with all certification requirements, including FSSC22000, across all EMEA production sources and third parties.

What you will bring:

Education & Experience – Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Science or Food Technology (postgraduate preferred); minimum 8 years in a leadership role with experience in QA/QC, manufacturing, engineering, CI, Quality Analytics, or Supplier Management.Technical Expertise – strong knowledge of GMPs, auditing, sanitation, food regulations, pest control, product safety; skilled in data-driven decision making, advanced statistical techniques, and implementing standards to improve quality, lead times, inventory, complexity, and costs.Leadership & Skills – proven META5 leadership abilities; able to lead through influence, simplify complexity, and align stakeholders; organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, balancing quality standards with business impact; strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.Certifications & Tools – proficiency in IPS, ISO 9001/17025, HACCP, GFSI schemes (FSSC 22000/BRC/IFS/SQF), Halal, Kosher, Organic, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.Languages – fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
