**About the role**
This role will lead quality assurance initiatives across RLCS plants, with a strong focus on capturing the Voice of the Customer (VOC) to drive improvements. The Assurance Quality Manager will support plants in the implementation of product and process changes, and lead quality-focused projects that enhance performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
**Key responsibilities**
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, sourcing, service) to analyze Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights and ensure robust quality planning, preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure the effective application of APQP (Carrier Passport methodology) to support the introduction of new products, processes, and cost reduction initiatives, while proactively safeguarding product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate and lead quality-driven projects, including product launches, engineering changes, and supplier transitions.
**Requirements & Qualifications**
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience applying APQP methodology in product and process introductions.
Experience leading cross-functional quality initiatives and managing quality-related projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Core Tools: FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plan, PPAP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (8D, A3, DMAIC).
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills to influence across functions and levels.
Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment.
Other Requirements:
Advanced English (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel as needed.
