Senior Quality Management Expert

Global Production & Supply Chain Spouts is responsible within SIG for the worldwide production of innovative plastic closures for our carton packaging for beverages and liquid foods. Production takes place in large series on high-performance injection molding machines.

 

Key responsibilities Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the quality and product safety management systems for GP Spouts, incl. planning, organisation, conducting, documenting and continuous improving Internal and external (customers, re-certifications) audits as well as follow-up of the corresponding audit findings SPOC for processing and managemenet of customer inquiries and for spout producers communication for quality related topics Support in maintaining GFSI recognised standards of the spouts manufacturers, incl. plant Neuhausen. Coaching and supporting of the Product Safety Management Officer in the plant Neuhausen Interfaces with EHS representative (e.g., ISO 14001:2015) to develop  policies, procedures and methods to improve the management system

 

You bring these skills, experience & education

Academic degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Chemistry

Certified Quality Lead Auditor (ISO and/or BRC)

Profound experience in the food or food packaging industry, particularly in:

Food safety compliance (especially plastics, paper & cardboard, or paints in consumer goods)

Analytical methods and quality systems

Implementation and supervision of prerequisite programs (e.g., GHP, GMP, GSP)

Food contact packaging or food production

Risk analysis, assessment and management (HACCP, VACCP, TACCP)

Strong knowledge of international food safety standards and regulatory frameworks

Excellent command of English; able to act as a global partner and communicator

Basic knowledge of German, with willingness to improve (position is based in Switzerland)

A structured and detail-oriented professional with a high level of accuracy

Proactive and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities

A confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and departments

Able to lead audits and projects independently while fostering a spirit of teamwork

Flexible and open to business travel (up to 25%)

Committed to continuous improvement and passionate about quality and product safety
