Primary Responsibilities:
Automation and Manual testing for Web and APIs. Create test plans, scenarios, execute and ensure 100% automation Design, develop and execute, maintain automation frame work using visual, BDD/TDD approaches for Web and API applications Be able to quickly learn new tools for web/API testing (e.g., RESTful/SOAP APIs, Chaos testing, Postman tools etc.), do POCs and incorporate as per the project needs Be passionate to enhance or refractor existing test framework by adopting industry best practices/tools. Looks for opportunities to enhance QE aspects in different stages of SDLC and implementation of the same Be able to asses, implement best engineering practices on continuous testing and automated performance tests etc. To achieve this, candidate should be able to collaborate with other team members and advance the automation Be able to understand cloud platform(s), infrastructure and come up with various test scenarios Be able to plan test strategies for distributed environments and automate Be able to do RCA (Root-Cause-Analysis) for defects, collaborate with engineering teams as required for this, identify improvement areas for better test coverage Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science or Engineering or Science or Mathematics or related field Experience to have implemented performance, load, fail-over, Security and DR testing Experience to have done significant contributions to enhance Automation framework (design test plans, scenarios, automate, execution and report results). Hands-on experience on Java Selenium, Java or J2EE, SQL, Protractor JS, JMeter (or any other load test tools). Technical Skills AI Engineering: Hands-on experience building and deploying AI models in real-world applications Cloud Platforms: Experience with Microsoft Azure and Log analysis Databases: Familiar with SQL Server and T-SQL Programming Languages: Proficient in Javascript, Java , SpringBoot and Linux Agile Scrum: Proven expertise in leading Agile teams, Scrum practices, and certified in PMP or SAFe Testing: Proven skilled in API & Performance Testing (JMeter & Playwrights) Version Control and DevOps: Proven comfortable using GitHub and working with CI/CD pipelines Good understanding of Agile processes, participate in scrum ceremonies and be able to present product functionalities to stakeholders Expert in Web, API and Automation & Manual Testing Exposure to Behavior Driven Development and test-driven development (BDD and TDD). Knowledge of SQL and any DB tools. Proven good grasp on Software Testing Life Cycle. Proven solid communication, presentation, collaboration, analytical and troubleshooting skills
