Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our office in Milan.
Reporting to the Country QHSE Manager will support him in the coordination of main activities for ensuring the highest quality standards across operations in Italy.
In this role you will/will be:
Develop, implement, and maintain all procedures/instructions related to Quality Management System at Country level according to standards requirements.
Plan, carry out and follow up Process Audits both internal and to Suppliers. Manage audits by Certification bodies and Customers.
Responsible for all quality aspects related to Country installation department including claims management, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support the plants in main claims management, root cause analysis and definition of corrective actions with related follow-up.
Monitor the main quality performance indicators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
Manage product certifications/homologation and keep their renewal with the support of R&D department and plants.
Manage all quality documentation (i.e., ITP/QCP, Type Test, certifications) for main customers during offer/orders processes.
Coordinate and support the plants in continuous improvement activities.
Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization's quality standards.
You are the right fit if you have/are:
4 + Years of experience
Bachelor’s degree: Engineering
Fluent in Italian and English
Knowledge of ISO 9001/IRIS requirements
Leadership: Capability to direct and guide colleagues on Quality matters.
Customer oriented, proactive attitude, negotiation and team working skills, flexibility, accuracy.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset
